Your podcast, hosted. Your files, still yours.
Castmorphic runs your podcast's website, feed and statistics for you — and never takes custody of your audio. Point each episode at the file, wherever you keep it, and everything else is handled.

How it works
Pick your address
Choose a name and it becomes your podcast's home on the web, live with its own certificate. Point your own domain at it whenever you're ready.
Your site builds itself
Episode pages, players, artwork, hosts, and a feed apps can subscribe to — running about a minute after you sign up.
Publish an episode
Give the episode a title, notes, and the address of its audio file. It appears on your site, in your feed, and in your listeners' apps.
What you get
No file custody
Your audio lives wherever you choose to keep it — your own storage, an archive, anywhere with an address. Leaving is as easy as arriving, because your files were never ours to hold.
Counted, not tracked
Downloads are counted as plain totals — by day, app, country, platform. There is no profile of any listener anywhere, because nothing about a person is ever stored.
A feed apps respect
Full iTunes namespace plus Podcasting 2.0 tags — transcripts, chapters, people and funding — so your show carries everything a modern podcast app can read.
Your look, your pace
Colours, background, type, layout and custom CSS from a live preview. Drafts and future-dated scheduling, so episodes publish themselves while you sleep.
Records straight in
Recording in FOSSStudio? Finished sessions publish directly into your show as episode drafts through the publish API.
Managed and patched
Updates, HTTPS certificates, backups of the platform and monitoring are our job. Yours is the show.
Built on FOSSCast, honestly
Castmorphic runs on FOSSCast, our free and open-source podcast platform, released under the GPL. The free edition is a complete product, not a teaser — and improvements to it reach every hosted show here too. Castmorphic itself is a paid, proprietary service: what you are paying for is that it runs, stays patched, and answers for itself.
Rather run it yourself?
Then do — genuinely. FOSSCast Community Edition is free to self-host and always will be. Get started at fosscast.org.
Questions
Where does my audio actually live?
Wherever you put it: your own web space, object storage, the Internet Archive — anything with a public address. Your feed points listeners through your Castmorphic site so downloads are counted, then straight on to your file. The audio itself never passes through us.
What happens in the free month?
Everything works from the first minute — your site, feed, statistics and dashboard. A card is asked for at signup and first charged when the month ends. Cancel before then and it is never charged at all.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You start on your chosen address under castmorphic.com, and you can point your own domain at your podcast when you are ready.
What if I leave?
Your audio was never in our hands, your feed's episodes can be imported by any host that reads RSS — including a self-hosted FOSSCast of your own — and cancelling is a button in your dashboard, not an email to support.
Is this the same thing as FOSSCast?
Castmorphic is FOSSCast, run for you, plus the hosting, updates, HTTPS and statistics infrastructure around it. The Community Edition stays free and self-hostable at fosscast.org.
